Andrea M. Boland was a 2016 Democratic candidate for District 33 of the Maine State Senate.

Boland is a former Democratic member of the Maine House of Representatives, representing District 142 from 2006 to 2014.

Biography

Born February 12, 1947, Boland's professional experience includes working as an independent distributor for Relin International, a title examiner, a television host and producer for MetroCast Cablevision, a management consultant in the city of Boston's Department of Treasury, and an investment advisor's assistant.[1]

Elections for the Maine State Senate took place in 2014. A primary election took place on June 10, 2014, and a general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for party candidates wishing to run in this election was March 17, 2014. The deadline for write-in candidates to run in the primary election was April 28, 2014, and the deadline for non-party candidates to run in the general election was June 2, 2014. District 3 incumbent John Tuttle defeated Andrea Boland in the Democratic primary, which was subject to a recount; the outcome was not affected.[6] Adam McGee was unopposed in the Republican primary but withdrew after the primary. He was replaced by David Woodsome. Woodsome defeated Tuttle in the general election.[7][8][9][10]

Boland won re-election in the 2012 election for Maine House of Representatives District 142. Boland ran unopposed in the June 12 Democratic primary and was unopposed in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[11][12]
