The only way I've found that can just read off the bitrate -- average and a complete time graph -- of video for AVC MKVs.
There are no menus, but there are actually lots of controls for various options (zooming, etc, so you can locate high bitrate sections precisely), see the progams's homepage http://www.winhoros.de/docs/bitrate-viewer/ -- you get this if you hit "F1".
I checked some MKVs I'd encoded myself with 2 pass so I knew the bitrate, and this gave it off exactly. |
