Keanu Reeves praised for how he takes photos with female fans

Fans have commented on how respectful the star is when he meets fans

With many stories coming out around shady behaviour or seedy moves from celebrities, it could be easy to think there are no good guys around.

Yet Hollywood star Keanu Reeves appears to be unique, in the sense that he's so well mannered and respectful he even takes careful steps not to crowd or touch his female fans when they ask for pictures.

In many pictures the film actor can be seen bending down or smiling for the camera but keeping his hands firmly aware from the fans or keeping a safe distance between them.

One fan spotted the trend and quickly shared their views on social media, as they shared: "Lol Keanu ain’t taking no chances."

Alongside it their shared a montage of clips of The Matrix actor posing with female fans, but always seeming to keep a distance between him and them.

Another fan commented: "It’s not about not taking chances. It’s about being considerate and respectful, qualities that Keanu carries in spades."

A third shared: "He’s respectful. This should be how it’s done unless ya know the woman doesn’t mind being touched. Keanu should inspire us all."

You'd think with constantly being the subject of fan attention and people wanting selfies or autographs it would go to your head.

Yet keeping it real, Keanu isn't phased by his fame but instead appears more baffled by the interest surrounding him.

Speaking to People he was asked for his reaction to being named the internet's newest boyfriend whilst at a premiere for Toy Story 4. Keanu's response says it all, as he replied: "I’ve been what? I didn’t know that… That’s wacky."

"The positivity is great. It’s really special how [Always Be My Maybe and John Wick 3] have been embraced."

The star also recently revealed how starring in The Matrix changed his life, which saw him choked up as he explained the impact from the movie.

The first in the film trilogy was released in 1999, and it took the world by storm, turning him into a global superstar.

Keanu is well aware of the franchise’s massive influence and speaking recently on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the 59-year-old held back tears as he reflected on its impact.

When the host brought up the fact that the first movie recently celebrated its 25th anniversary, Reeves had to pause before he spoke about how important it was to him.

He said: “The Matrix changed my life, and then over these years, it’s changed so many other people’s lives in really positive and great ways.

“As an artist, you hope for that when you get to do a film or tell a story.

“So, when you say these years, the amount of people that I have met who have said to me and been touched by The Matrix in such a positive way… It’s the best.”

It's safe to say that Keanu is one of the good ones, with no ego or hype around being an actor.
