Lovely closet!

The closet looks exactly the same like in the website!Beautiful colors,large space inside for storage,good quality,professionally and perfectly made montage!Very friendly guys!I highly recommend!Thanks, Goossens,for making me happy with my new closet!

Furniture was not delivered as expected

The piece of furniture was delivered assembled, while we did not request or pay that. I needed to call a moving elevator, in order to elevate the furniture to upper floor. This is completely unacceptable.

The best furniture store in the…

The best furniture store in the Netherlands! I received my sofa as promised when I ordered it, and it looks even better than it did in the showroom. The quality of the material is flawless, and it's definitely worth the money. The delivery team was one of the best I've ever encountered, and they didn't leave until everything was perfect! I'm really satisfied, and I will definitely continue to furnish my home with Goossens.

Great personal service, but the inventory is non-existent, prepare to wait 3-4 months in most cases.

The customer service was great. Everyone was very helpful, made the experience very personal, and guided us through the selections. The showroom however felt a little Ikea like, forcing you to walk a big lap just to compare products, and furthermore, while I appreciated the service, I do wish there were a way to speed it up some of you don’t wish to spend multiple hours sitting down and discussing. It was a high level of personal service and I appreciated that, but also I felt I didn’t need to be “wowed” and serviced coffee etc, when for me the priority was making a selection, paying, and getting back to moving (since we are already busy with other moving tasks).

My only real complaint I’m lowering my rating for, and it is a big one, was that nothing was in stock! The choices of furniture were near unlimited, but for most everything, we were told the earliest delivery would be 3-4 months! In our chair model we purchased, there were probably 60 options between leg styles, fabric, wheels, and arm/armless versions. I get that not all of these would be immediately available, but only ONE was. To me, that’s impractical as the rest of the options were over 1-2 months out. Your biggest customers are probably people moving who need furniture, and luckily we found a chair we really liked, but had there been more inventory available, we would’ve bought a couch, table and other furniture to go with it. Everything looked great, but the wait times were nowhere near practical for filling a home.

Lastly, I don’t appreciate that doorstep delivery included a fee. You don’t have an option for self-pickup since warehouses are scattered, so why is a delivery by Post NL, without any assembly or extra services, a $50 charge if it’s the only option. To me, this should just be factored into the price, unless you choose for assembly to be provided (which is another $50). Additionally, I was told in-person and in multiple emails that I’d be given a two hour delivery window, two days before scheduled delivery. This is not true. I’m a day away from delivery and just received an email stating I’d be given a timeframe at 7am tomorrow, the morning of delivery. That really doesn’t leave any room to plan, and I don’t appreciate that with a service we are paying $50 for that to me should have already been included.

Nice furniture, nice people, bad logistics, and almost nothing available in a reasonable timeframe.

Very good customer service

Very good customer service, smooth and friendly delivery. Also in case of any issues the customer service is quick and always friendly. I already bought several furniture’s there!

Over priced furniture

Over priced furniture. Communication in between placing the order and receiving it was bad / non existing. Furniture wasn't packed good. Pour is too soft and not really like it was in the show room . Fabric is same but it's like there is no support under the cushion. Total waste of money

Lovely Dining Chairs and Dressoir

Over the past month, I ordered 4 chairs and a large TV stand/dressoire for my apartment. Overall, I am very satisfied with the quality of the products as well as the service and delivery. I live on a high floor and the delivery people have been nothing but very professional and kind. Very happy with my purchases from Goossens.

Excellent customer service

First of all I've ordered a sofa too big for my apartment and it couldn't fit. I've called customer service and could exchange it for a smaller one by phone! That's an amazing service. Also I could get my new couch before holidays which made all my family happy!

Smooth ordering and delivery

Smooth ordering, smooth delivery. I had pleasant experience with Goossens. In June I ordered my closet, at the time without discount. The sales promised me that if the article ever goes on sale, I can get it before my order was delivered. And before the delivery, the closet was on 20% off sale - I just wrote an email and Goossens adjusted the price for me without any hustle. And the closet was delivered today on the promised time. Great experience!

My original lamp arrived perfectly…

My original lamp arrived perfectly delivered but unfortunately with a slight defect (not Goossens fault). I then reached out to customer service who responded the same day and delivered a new one fast then previous one. What a great service responsible and truly care about their customers. Realy satisfied.
