Great personal service, but the inventory is non-existent, prepare to wait 3-4 months in most cases.
The customer service was great. Everyone was very helpful, made the experience very personal, and guided us through the selections. The showroom however felt a little Ikea like, forcing you to walk a big lap just to compare products, and furthermore, while I appreciated the service, I do wish there were a way to speed it up some of you don’t wish to spend multiple hours sitting down and discussing. It was a high level of personal service and I appreciated that, but also I felt I didn’t need to be “wowed” and serviced coffee etc, when for me the priority was making a selection, paying, and getting back to moving (since we are already busy with other moving tasks).
My only real complaint I’m lowering my rating for, and it is a big one, was that nothing was in stock! The choices of furniture were near unlimited, but for most everything, we were told the earliest delivery would be 3-4 months! In our chair model we purchased, there were probably 60 options between leg styles, fabric, wheels, and arm/armless versions. I get that not all of these would be immediately available, but only ONE was. To me, that’s impractical as the rest of the options were over 1-2 months out. Your biggest customers are probably people moving who need furniture, and luckily we found a chair we really liked, but had there been more inventory available, we would’ve bought a couch, table and other furniture to go with it. Everything looked great, but the wait times were nowhere near practical for filling a home.
Lastly, I don’t appreciate that doorstep delivery included a fee. You don’t have an option for self-pickup since warehouses are scattered, so why is a delivery by Post NL, without any assembly or extra services, a $50 charge if it’s the only option. To me, this should just be factored into the price, unless you choose for assembly to be provided (which is another $50). Additionally, I was told in-person and in multiple emails that I’d be given a two hour delivery window, two days before scheduled delivery. This is not true. I’m a day away from delivery and just received an email stating I’d be given a timeframe at 7am tomorrow, the morning of delivery. That really doesn’t leave any room to plan, and I don’t appreciate that with a service we are paying $50 for that to me should have already been included.
Nice furniture, nice people, bad logistics, and almost nothing available in a reasonable timeframe.
