THESE days they are arguably the most well-known family on the planet – famed for their reality show, famous boyfriends and even more famous curves.
But before they burst onto our screens in 2010 the Kardashian/Jenner klan were almost unrecognisable to the women we know and love today.
After 20 series of their E! reality show, and three series later on Disney Plus, Kris, Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, Kendall and Kylie have transformed before our very eyes. Here we take a look back at how fame has changed the family.
Kris Jenner
Behind every family is a great woman - and it’s this case it’s momager Kris Jenner.
The matriarch is 67 but has never looked better thanks to a few nips and tucks – which has included getting a facelift and a boob job.
She famously went under the knife in 2011 when Kim tied to the knot to Kris Humphries (who she split from 72 days later).
“I did have a little freshening up,' Kris revealed at the time.
“Well after Kim used to start calling me "gobble, gobble", at Thanksgiving. I mean that's nice, isn't it.
“Kim thought my chin was down to my waist. So I had a little lower... they take your chin and pull it up.”
She claims her eyes, lips and nose have all remained the same.
The star started the first show married to former Olympian Bruce Jenner, however the pair filed for divorce in 2014 citing irreconcilable differences.
The star later came out as a transgender woman in 2015 and took the name Caitlyn.
Kourtney Kardashian
Soon to be mum-of-four Kourtney has probably changed the least out of all the ladies.
However since split from Scott Disick she has transformed from an earth mother to a MILF.
While she has always been health conscious she has upped her game in terms of working out – toning up her already petite frame.
Despite appearing all natural Kim let slip last year that Kourt had had a boob job. When discussing Caitlyn Jenner’s breasts, she said: “Her boobs were like Kourtney’s like when she first got hers done.”
The 47-year-old star found love again with Blink-182 drummer and musician Travis Barker and the pair wed a total of three times in 2022.
She later revealed that she was expecting her fourth child - her first with Travis - and she is now on the mend after being hospitalised with a health scare.
Kim Kardashian
Kim – who is the most famous member of the klan – has without a doubt undergone the most drastic transformation over the years.
The young woman, who was once a stylist for Paris Hilton with bad style and bushy eyebrows, is now thought of as one of the world’s most beautiful women.
However, apart from a spot of Botox, Kim has always maintained her recognisable looks are completely natural.
In the past, she said: “Trust me honey, if I take this bra off you will tell me I need to get them done.
“I'm totally not against plastic surgery. ... I've tried Botox before. That's the only thing that I've done.”
She also recently admitted she gets injections in her bum – but says it’s not to make it bigger, it’s just to treat a skin complaint.
Over the years Kim has honed the art of contouring, meaning her face often looks a completely different shape to in the past.
When she was married to Kanye West, fashion was at the centre of their relationship.
But when the pair first split Kim described her style choices as "psychologically hard" as she debuted her first looks that were not vetted by her rapper husband.
Khloe Kardashian
Over the years Khloe has transformed in terms of her body shape – going from a chubby teenager to a stunning and strong woman.
She noticeably started to change while going through difficulties with her now ex-husband Lamar Odom when she turned to exercise to vent her frustrations.
Over the last couple of years her body has completely changed – and she now gives her sisters a run for their money.
She has however been faced with speculation that she may have had a helping hand to achieve her incredible look.
Denying having had any work done, she said: “I’m proud for losing weight when I wanted to and I’ve never resorted to surgery.
“I’m not against it - one day I probably will but it would be on my terms. I won’t be bullied into it by social media or anyone else.”
Like her sister Kim, she has also mastered the art of make-up and now never leaves the house without being contoured within an inch of her life.
Kendall Jenner
As we all know Kendall Jenner is the supermodel of the family and viewers have watched her transform from a pretty little girl into a stunning catwalk queen.
Kenny was just 14 when KUWTK started and despite growing up in the public eye, she is probably still the most natural of the family.
The 20-year-old is now one of the most in-demand models in the world and regularly walks for top designers, stars on catwalks across the world and has millions of her own in the bank.
She also keeps it the most natural out of any of the sisters and is often seen going completely fresh-faced.
Kylie Jenner
Last but not least is the youngest Kylie – who has without a doubt changed the most out of all the girls.
Kylie, who is now 19, was only 12 when the show first started and it’s fair to say she’s been influenced by her older siblings and has grown up at a rapid rate.
While of course the growing up process has played a party, Kylie has had a helping hand in the form of lip injections.
The star hit headlines when she was only 17 thanks to her plumped up pout, which she initially claimed was purely down to her make-up skills.
She eventually fessed up and revealed she had been getting fillers.
But she has denied having anything else done, saying: “I’m not against plastic surgery.
“Full disclosure: I’ve only been under once before, when I went to the dentist and I didn’t react well; it really scared me. I threw up and I was SO nauseous the next day. But as of now, I only have lip fillers. Like I’ve said before, it has always been a huge insecurity of mine and I wanted to make a change.”
She added: “If, down the line, I get to a point where I’m really uncomfortable with something on my body, I’m not against changing it.”
Although she later removed her lip filler in 2018, she soon started plumping her lips again.
However in a new interview with Homme Girls she got even more candid about the work she's had done in the past.
She explained: "I think a big misconception about me is that I've had so much surgery on my face and that I was some insecure person, and I really wasn't! Yeah, I love full lips and wanted full lips, but growing up I was always the most confident person in the room.
"I was the girl performing for everyone. I had my one lip insecurity thing, so I got lip filler, and it was the best thing I've ever done. I don't regret it. But I always thought I was cute."
