UK’s cheapest city for night out revealed – and it’s just over £21 for booze, kebab and cab…where does your town rank?
BRITAIN’S cheapest night out is in Bradford — where it costs just over £21 for booze, entry to a club and a kebab and a cab on the way home.
The average for the UK is £29, while in London a night out will set you back £46.
Researchers totted up average prices for a pint of beer or glass of wine, a cocktail, entry to a club, the price of a kebab and the cost of a two-mile cab journey home.
In Bradford, a pint or glass of wine costs an average of £3. Cocktails — such as a whisky sour or espresso martini — come in at £7.
Club entry is about £2, a kebab is £5 and the taxi home is £4.25 for a total of £21.25.
English tutor Anna Lowe, 34, who lives in the West Yorks city, said: “Bradford is a great place to go out in — the people are great and the prices are not off-the-scale rip-off.

“When I went down to London last year to watch a show I couldn’t believe it when I was charged £13 for a large glass of wine.
“I looked at the barman and said I only wanted the one glass, and he said, ‘That is the price of the one glass’. I was genuinely shocked.”
The analysis, by Casino Alpha, found that other cheap nights out could be had in Dundee (£22.35), Sunderland (£23.60), Chester (£24.60), and York (£25.05).
The most expensive is London, where a pint or wine is an average of £6, cocktails and club entry are £10 each, a kebab is £8 and a cab ride home is £12.
