The gilt brass case with bevelled glass, on adjustable toupie feet, the enamel dial with Roman numerals, signed ‘ATMOS/ PENDULE PERPETUELLE/ Brevets J.L. Reutter/ Made in France, numbered ’1431' to the back of the mechanism, and ‘126’ to the inside of the door, the torsion pendulum wound by changes in temperature or atmospheric pressure.
