At Xbox, we believe that gaming is for everyone—and that includes the 450 million gamers with disabilities worldwide. To celebrate Global Accessibility Awareness Day this past month, the Xbox Research Accessibility Team released their Game Accessibility Workshop Toolkit to help developers create more accessible games. Studios that participate in Game Accessibility Workshops are more likely to create successful accessibility design and features. Turn 10’s blind driving assist in Forza Motorsport, Rare’s audio aim assist in Sea of Thieves, and Playground Games’ picture-in-picture ASL in Forza Horizon 5 are great examples of the innovations in studio inclusivity. Thank you to the Xbox Accessibility Research Team, as well as the members of the accessibility community and the game studios that contributed to the toolkit. https://xbx.lv/3Rg8PWP
