Are you joining us for some collective effervescence? 🎉 I’m really looking forward to the Speakers Collective summit today What gets all of us out of bed is a shared mission to reduce stigma & raise awareness of important topics Fingers crossed trains from North Dorset behave themselves! I’m running a little activity on mental health conversations to inspire self-care and healthy boundaries We’re all on a mission! But do we always practise what we preach when it comes to being kind to ourselves? And collective effervescence? A term coined by Émile Durkheim I recently heard Brené Brown use 😊 That magic of shared connection & energy from in-person events We might not be O2 concert size, but you can guarantee something special will emerge! Image description: A Canva created image with white background and green writing and random green patterns A speakers collective megaphone icon at top and underneath written: SPEAKERS COLLECTIVE SUMMIT MONDAY 15 JULY 2024 2 - 5 PM 1 City Gate House, 22 Southwark Bridge Road, London, SE1 9HB Info@SpeakersCollective.org Underneath that text is the AGENDA in detail that runs from 2-5pm and includes a mix of talks and workshops, apologies Emma hasn’t typed up all the details, it’s in the alt text of the image #mentalhealthawareness #stigma #connection

Producer/Director at Big Pictures Media 🎥 | Empowering businesses with beautifully-produced videos that engage audiences and elevate brands
It's OKAY to not be OKAY... We recently had the opportunity to work with the folks at Building Hope in Frisco to create this short film for Rocky Mountain Health Plans about a young man named Otto and his first-hand experience with suicide. Building Hope is a community-wide initiative designed to create a more coordinated, effective, and responsive mental health system that promotes emotional health, reduces stigma, and improves access to care and support for everyone in Summit County. We are all so grateful to Otto for sharing his story, and making himself available to us for the shoot day. Creating videos like this requires a level of sensitivity and care not only to our subjects, but to the subject matter. This stuff is complicated, and challenging to distill into a short video. But it's what I personally love doing. It was very important to us (and our client) to recognize that mental health work is ongoing. Not all patient stories have the arc of PROBLEM - SOLUTION - HAPPY ENDING. The solution is constantly evolving, and the ending is often really just a beginning. But hopefully a beginning in the right direction. We worked with the amazing team Parallel Path - Health and Wellness Marketing Agency to produce a whole series of impactful short films for Rocky Mountain Health Plans and its partner organizations, including this one. #mentalhealth #healthcare #filmmaking #videoproduction
