As Microsoft remains committed to sustainability as a core priority, I'm proud of the progress we made in the past year to advance a circular economy and achieve zero waste by 2030. Across our operations, products, and packaging, we focused on preventing waste and reusing materials. Because of this, we were able to achieve the following: 👩💻 Reuse and recycle 89.4 percent of servers and components across all cloud hardware 🛠 Divert more than 18,537 metric tons of waste from landfills or incinerators across our owned datacenters and campuses 📦Reduce single-use plastics in our Microsoft product packaging to 2.7 percent Our sustainability journey isn't just about highlighting progress, it's also about surfacing global challenges so that we can begin to build a path forward with others. I'm grateful and proud to work at Microsoft where, in partnership with many others, we are building systems that support people and planet.
