Position Summary:
This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the social services and child welfare field. Participation in agency and community trainings will help you increase your skills and ability. You will be a valued member of a team committed to supporting foster youth to reach their highest potential.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a social science field
6 months of experience working with children
Must be able to pass a criminal history background check, drug screen and physical.
Must have and maintain a valid California driver’s license, vehicle insurance and a good driving record; must be able to drive personal vehicle
Bilingual in Spanish preferred
Essential Functions:
Support Counselor responsibilities include coaching, mentoring, skill building and supportive feedback to youth and their resource families.
Hours vary and will include evenings and weekends.
Wage range: $20.20 – $22.74/hr.
