Position Overview

They are seeking a Senior Director of Sales to spearhead their Aerospace and Defense (A&D) strategy within their Go-To-Market Group. As the chief strategist for this sector, your responsibilities will include:


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the Technical Executive Sponsor, driving their presence in the Department of Defense (DoD) and the Defense Industrial Base (DIB).
  • Expand their footprint across the A&D enterprise.
  • Represent the company at an executive level within the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), military branch services, and prime contractors.
  • Develop and execute strategic direction within the A&D sector.
  • Establish technical roadmaps, campaign focuses, and priorities.
  • Formulate and implement capture strategies for critical programs.
  • Build and execute teaming and partnership strategies across the Defense Industrial Base.
  • Prioritize product development, solutions, and go-to-market campaigns globally for their A&D business.
  • Lead their push into classified programs from a strategic business perspective.
  • Bridge vital DoD/IC microelectronics programs with performers, collaborating with technical experts to shape initiatives at the PEO level.
  • Foster relationships and partnerships within the DoD contractor community to become the preferred partner for new program pursuits.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop A&D market analysis and competitive assessments to understand market size and design trends by technology type.
  • Achieve success through year-over-year business growth with a target of 20% annually.


Qualifications

  • Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or a closely related discipline, with over two decades of industry experience.
  • Extensive background in devising and executing effective go-to-market (GTM) strategies for sophisticated solutions.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain strategic alliances within the technology industry.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of semiconductor technologies or similar fields.
  • Superior communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in leadership and team management.
  • Proven success in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and in delivering tangible results.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range for this role in the U.S. is between $210,000 and $316,000. Additionally, this position may qualify for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses. They offer a comprehensive benefits package including health, wellness, and financial benefits. The actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of job-related factors such as location, skills, experience, and education.
