The Eastchester School District is seeking a qualified experienced educator, with an expertise in Early Childhood Education, to fill the leave replacement vacancy of Kindergarten Teacher, in the Waverly School.
Preferred Required
The successful candidate for this leave replacement position will plan and execute lessons, and work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to meet the needs of students. Experience working in an inclusion classroom is preferred, but not required. Assessments utilized in classroom include BAS and NWEA. Familiarity with the following programs is preferred:
Heggerty for phonemic awareness
Fundations for phonics
Teachers College Reading & Writing Workshop program/model
Per diem leave replacement assignment beginning October 2024
Salary range: $61,939 - $85,725, step placement contingent upon prior related experience. Salary to be prorated at a per diem rate of 1/200.
