In a triumph for the communities served by Lake Norman and Davis Regional Medical Centers, a federal judge granted Novant Health permission to move forward with purchasing the facilities and their related businesses, including physician clinic operations and outpatient services from subsidiaries of Community Health Systems, Inc. As we take a walk down memory lane, we loved seeing the excitement around our news that Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center expanded their critical care services and received an upgraded Level II trauma designation. The designation was awarded after a rigorous two-year evaluation process by the American College of Surgeons and the North Carolina Office of EMS.
