Rachel Weisz is a dead ringer for Eddie Redmayne's character in The Danish Girl as she sports ginger wig on movie set
Acclaimed actress Rachel Weisz was a dead ringer for Eddie Redmayne's character in The Danish Girl when she stepped out in Surrey on Saturday afternoon.
The 45 year-old turned heads in a ginger wig as she filmed scenes for her latest project, Denial, in which she plays American historian Deborah Lipstadt.
But the likeness to Eddie's upcoming role as transgender pioneer Lili Elbe in the film, slated for release on December 25, was unmistakable as she modelled her new look.

The British beauty stepped back in time for the scenes, which saw her sport curly locks cut into a side-parted bob cut.
Wearing little make-up, she appeared the diametric opposite of her real-life persona, which sees her married to James Bond actor Daniel Craig.
What certainly didn't help was her clothing. Dressed in character, she found herself in a pair of blue leggings with a baggy grey top and a Sony Cassette Walkman.

Surrounded by crew-members, the 45 year-old seemed focused on her role as the woman behind a legal battle against a man who was a Holocaust denier.
Directed by Mick Jackson, who's works include The Bodyguard and Temple Grandin with Claire Danes, it is expected for release in late 2016.

Not that fans will be rationed to just that project, of course.
Rachel will also star in two other up-coming films, including Complete Unknown, opposite Kathy Bates, and The Favourite.
The latter follows the political machinations behind the scenes during the reign of Queen Anne, the last monarch of the House of Stuarts.
