Sonja explained that she got her fish from Connecticut over 20 years ago, and they mean a lot to her.

On the topic of fish, the clip showed the entrepreneur telling the workers, 'One time I found a goldfish in the toaster. Unfortunately my daughter found it.'

'I don't know if she has PTSD from it,' Sonja continued. 'Some guys from the hedge fund were here partying, and they thought they'd be like, you know, the wolves of Wall Street, so they were like, "Arg! I'm going to eat your goldfish!" and so my daughter made toast and it popped out.'

She captioned the hilarious video, 'I’m not leaving without my fish! End of a different kind of era…'

She added: 'Many memories were made over the years, including hosting my daughter’s friends from boarding school and university, and so many noteworthy moments were filmed by NBC for Bravo and Peacock TV. Now, as an empty nester, I am ready to share this turnkey, easy-to-manage jewel over to someone new to enjoy as we did.'
