Singer Kacy Hill has laid bare her six-month fight to break away from Kanye West's GOOD Music label - claiming she attended his Sunday Service every week before ultimately storming his office and begging him to let her out of her contract.
Kacy, now 30, signed to Kanye's recording company in 2014, after she impressed the rapper, now 47, while working as a backup dancer on his The Yeezus tour.
She released her debut album, Like a Woman, in 2017 under the label, but two years later, she announced via X, formerly Twitter, that she had cut ties with GOOD Music.
Now, the musician has spoken out about her departure from the recording company, alleging that she was told she wouldn't be able to stop working with them without Kanye's permission.
But that seemed to be much harder quest than she expected. She said Kanye 'didn't want to use email' at the time and had no assistant - making it nearly impossible for her to get in touch with him.

Kacy decided to attend his weekly religious performance to try to speak with him, but she claims it took a whopping six months before he finally agreed to let her go.
The popstar opened up about the situation during one of her recent concerts in Highland Park, Los Angeles, and a fan captured the speech before uploading it to TikTok earlier this week.
'Kanye West, we've all heard of him I think, I was signed to him, I was signed to GOOD Music, it was so crazy,' she told the crowd.
She said that she was in the midst of making her second album when GOOD Music parent company Def Jam Records approached her and said they weren't sure if they wanted to move forward with her.
But unfortunately, she claimed she was told they couldn't make a decision without Kanye's input.
'It was crazy. I was like, "So do you want me or do you not? Like... What are we doing here?" It was weird, I was literally in a situationship with Def Jam Records,' she joked.
'They were like, "We actually can't keep you or let you go, the only person that can keep you or let you go is Kanye West himself."
'I was like, "No problem." However, at that time, he decided he didn't want to use email and he also didn't have an assistant so that was crazy.'

Kacy explained that she spent 'six months of her life' attending his Sunday Service 'every weekend' with the hopes of speaking with him.
'This is a true story I'm not exaggerating anything,' she continued. 'For like six months of my life I went to [Kanye's] Sunday Service every weekend.
'It was like going to someone's wedding with a contract in your hand. I'd go and I'd be like, "That was really beautiful, sir, can we talk?"'
She said she eventually ended up going to his office in Calabasas, where she was finally able to speak with the rapper.
'I was like, "I need to get out of this deal." And he was like, "OK, what do I need to do?"' she recalled.
'I was like, "You can text literally anyone and say that I'm done." So he did and I was done.'

In 2015, the ASA dubbed the campaign, which showed her in a thong, as 'irresponsible and offensive' and claimed it 'sexualized a model' who appeared to be underage.
Kacy was actually 20 years old at the time.
