Chrissy Teigen documents tense flight takeoff that left her 'bracing for impact' as she pleads for husband John Legend to call her - after string of airlines were hit by turbulence drama

Chrissy Teigen had a scare Monday as she was a passenger on a flight that experienced an eventful takeoff that had her 'bracing for impact' at one point.

Teigen, 38, took to Instagram Stories on Monday asking her husband John Legend, 45, to call her amid the anxiety-inducing experience, which she dubbed her 'final destination.'

The model and TV star said on the social media platform that the flight progressed from 'a thousand miles an hour' to 'a complete stop.'

The Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue alum explained the misconception she had about the travel trouble, which was eventually dubbed an 'erroneous takeoff' by flight officials.

'For like three seconds I was … absolutely positive that we were braking because we were going to hit something and we didn't,' Teigen said.

Teigen said she was 'so grateful for these pilots and the plane for doing what it was supposed to do,' without naming the specific airline the incident occurred on.

Teigen said she got 'very religious all of the sudden' amid the in-flight incident. She continued to post takeoff efforts on her social media platform, on which she has 42.4 million followers.

She referred specifically to Dailymail.com in noting how her 'last words' would have been on the topic of beer cheese had things taken a turn for the worse.

'All my last photos on Daily Mail would be, "She had beer cheese. That was her last meal." My last words were nearly, "Meemaw's beer cheese."'

Teigen is mother to kids Luna, eight, Miles, six, Esti, one, and Wren, 11 months with the Grammy-winning artist.

The pair, who experienced a pregnancy loss in 2020 with son Jack, celebrated their 10th anniversary last fall.

Teigen thankfully arrived on her flight safely, as she was pictured at New York City's Times Center Tuesday.

She was a speaker at Aura's Digital Parenthood Summit on Raising a Connected Generation opposite DreamWorks co-founder Jeffrey Katzenberg at the event.

The ongoing election year could bring more fireworks from Teigen, who has past clashed with presumptive Republican nominee and former President Donald Trump, who she and Legend have been outspoken of their disdain for.

Trump referenced the celebrity couple in a September 2019 tweet in which he bemoaned how they hadn't properly credited his criminal justice reform efforts, calling him 'boring' and her 'his filthy mouthed wife.'

In response, Legend said he felt Trump was insecure, while Teigen referred to the then-president as a 'p**** a** b****.'

Amid a congressional hearing last year, it was revealed that officials in Trump's administration had contacted Twitter leadership at the time, calling for them to take down Teigen's post.
