Our mission
Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery is a Catholic cemetery that provides proper burial of the dead, including all associated products and services.
As consecrated ground, the cemetery is an extension of the Church. In commemorating the dead with respect and dignity, it bears witness to the Christian faith in the Resurrection of Christ and our own future resurrection. This function completes the Church’s pastoral role and provides the bereaved with the comfort they need.
The cemetery manages its activities to achieve financial stability, to ensure its continuity and meet its long-term financial obligations. The management is based on respect for people, ethical practices, superior client service, professionalism, high standards and teamwork.

Satisfying every client’s requirements is one of the principal goals of the Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery. Ever since it was founded in 1854, the cemetery has been adapting to the many different customs of its clients while still maintaining its own values within Montreal society. Evolution and adaptation have always been key to the role we play in fulfilling our mission.
