WALLA WALLA -- A woman charged with stealing money from Banner Bank while employed as a loan servicing agent has been sentenced to a term on a work crew.

Suzette A. Brock, 39, of 262 N.E. 11th Ave., Milton-Freewater, pleaded guilty Monday in Walla Walla County Superior Court to two counts of first-degree theft, one count of second-degree theft and one count of third-degree theft.

She was sentenced by Judge John Lorhmann to concurrent terms totaling 365 days in jail with 245 days suspended. She was given credit for 28 days served with the remainder of the sentence converted to 92 days to be served with the Department of Corrections work crew.

She was arrested on March 9 after police were called to Banner Bank's Human Resource Corporate Office.

As part of her sentence, Brock was ordered to pay $15,385.21 in restitution to the bank in addition to other fines and court fees.
